Errol -----Original Message----- Ive seen what was refered to as a R190
which had a spool about the size of an r200.It was out of a bluebird which was
apparantly x gibson motorsport.Could be the same as the r192. Terry Rudd wrote: Interesting diff in the Z432 - i.e. R192-LS. How sweet would
one of those be in a 1600/FJ20ET.The 2 litre street engine was only rated at
160 hp with all of those goodies on it - not that bad I spose but I would've
expected a few more. I wonder how many ponies it pumped out in race
trim.regardsTerry -----Original

couple of pics of the s20 on the z car site in the z history section under
japanese model fairlady Z432. Steve Lamb

the one Terry. The
original Skyline GT-A 2 litre 6. It did
run in THE race at Bathurst in GT-B form. Five speed box and triple
webers, plus LSD, all stock factory, pretty classy gear in its day. One was for
sale in last weeks Melbourne Trading Post - $6000. I bet
it went, they are rare as. The GT-A and GT-B were model designations of the Prince
Skylines of the mid 60's. These cars didn't use the S20 engine (to my
knowledge) but a SOHC straight six which looks a bit like an L6. A friend
recently bought one of the factory race cars that was campaigned in the NZ
touring car series (or whatever they called it then). Some may have seen
it recently as a featured car in the Drive section of the Thursday Age
newspaper. BTW, the S20 engine was used in the rare Z432 Fairlady (240Z) sold
in Japan. Basically this was a homologation 'special' for a local race
series. The 'Z432' designation breaks down as: 4 - valves per cylinder3 -
carbs2 - overhead cams --membersozdat-------------------------------------------------------
