Andrew, I knew the V8's changed control tyres, and I had a feeling after I hit send that I was behind the times. Your example sort of illustrates the point I was making, but with a twist as the Dunlop's have the US style spec except the "680" is metric as in millimetres and that's nearly 27" overall diameter - the Bridgestone's that they used previously are just your normal road spec.
