Nah didn't take it the wrong way just came out that way   I am away a lot lately and download several hundred emails at a time and thats why I don't often reply anymore.   Buy the complete arse end out of a turbo R31 from an importer, usually cost about a grand.  You'll get  4.4:1 R200 LSD (viscous) with CV's and 300mm venteds.  You can either use the R31 trailing arms with 1600 xmember and get shafts shortened and run coil overs or weld in the spring mounts or you can just change over what you need to the 1600 xmember nd trailing arms and get the CVs shortened.  I have fitted an R31 complete rear end to a 1600 by cutting and shortening the xmember and machining up offset aluminium mounts to fit the original xmember mounts but it's a bit of a job if you only want a quick fix. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Melissa Sent: Monday, 19 August 2002 3:21 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: hi all, new to the list- HELP I wasn't trying to be smart I was just saying i'd posted similar message 2 times now without any response at all... several weeks apart.
