I gotta a number of replies to
the Rally thing and thought Id include general information about my
datto.
Hi, Im from Sydney and have
competed in the F1 Grand Prix Rally, Alpine Classic and Mg Classic.
But I now want to do a special
stage rally. Ive got my R3 license and my car. The Stanza has a full
cage. It runs an L20 now increased to 2.1 with cam, extractors,
exhaust and webers. Struts, Brakes and Gearbox are R31 GTS. Diff is H190 non LSD
(unfortunately). Bilstein front shocks. the car is very heavy
(1100 KG) and is quite high off the ground, (for a tarmac car) as I cant
lower it as the tyres will hit the guards.
I want to know if the above is a
good set up?
Should I go 14" or 15" tyres and
what type of tyres for the east coast?
Should I run rear sway bar and
front strut brace?
Should I run Locked diff or open
diff? (I cant afford an LSD)
