I guess the engine sits in slightly different positions depending on the
design of the engine mounts, some fj's seem to be mounted further back than
others. This would only affect the clutch resevoir not brake resevoir
positions i think.
Dave, the 180b booster and nabco cylinder does fit without the resevoirs
touching the manifold but only just and wouldn't pass engineers certificate
on this car, maybe your engine sits a little higher than this one. It does
have a custom sump so maybe it is able to sit lower.
I have looked into the urvan master(thanks Terry) and have decided that the
best option would be to find some of the resevoir caps off one and use them
on a 180b 7/8" bore cylinder. That way I can mount resevoirs remotely and
easily clear manifold. Also the urvan cylinder is only 20.64mm(from memory
looking at book) which I don't think will have as good a displacement of
fluid for the brake setup i have.

Dave,
You must nearly have the short intake runner version of the FJ engine or
something I don't know about. Mine is a long runner DR30 version, and with
that one if you can get a normal clutch reservoir in there it beats me how.

regards
Terry

Rohan
I dont run a remote resevoir on my FJ 1600, you can get them in without
having to run one...
most people dont but it can be done. Mines using a datsun booster and
resevoir.
Cheers
Dave
