I've
had another look at the pics of that box, funny how you see things that you
missed the first time round. The shifter doesn't tell me that it's not an FJ
box, what does though is the switches on the drivers side. It has all 3 switches
with connectors attached - i.e. neutral, top gear and reverse lights. Now most
engines with EFI and therefore an ECU, don't have top gear and neutral switches
as these are used to control advance on a manual dizzy and they are (I wont say
only) nearly always only required with a carbie engine, and certainly they
aren't used on a FJt. Also the clutch and flywheel doesn't look like any FJt
items that I've ever seen, but I wont say that I know for sure what it's off
though.
What's
the diameter of the clutch plate? There could be a few clues
there?
