On a 1600? it's 1:3.8 for zero offset wheels (just to be technically
correct), although there is very little difference if the rear wheels have
an offset in the range of +- .5"

This means that the average 700# heavy duty lowered rear spring has a static
spring rate in the order of 185# (Just about right if you have 200# in
front). The ratio for struts is all but 1:1 and for coil overs it is around
1:.9
