malpassi fuel pressure regulators

List,   I’ve got a malpassi rising rate reg but as its designed for efi I can’t see how it will work for a carb set up. Efi normally runs the reg on the return side and builds up pressure before it and the reg will close more under boost but for a carby I need it the opposite way around. I know lots of times its been done with rising rate regs on carby cars so how does it work? Is there a carby model of rising rate reg available?? Thanks allot for your help anyway??
