No 240Z or 260Z had power steering from the factory and wasn't even 
an option [some have claimed that there were some cars with power 
steering in Oz, but it is probable that these were dealer/after 
market conversions].  The front-ends of 240Z's and 260Z's are 
basically the same with only minor detail differences really. 
Tie-rod ends are the same, as are ball-joints for the most part (see 
my other post).  280ZX is a totally different car, and it's quite 
likely the major steering parts are quite different to an earlier 
car.  Certainly the power-steering arrangement on a 280ZX is totally 
different, and is actually closer to the steering used in 240K, C210 
and R30 Skylines.
