if the usual 'bash the dash' makes it comes back on....its the contacts on the control 
box thingy...trust me

I think we have the same problems with the 510. Correct me if im wrong but
its a voltage regulator, and if your fuel/temp are stuffed its most likely
this. Im not sure about the "little box" on the bluebird but it sounds to me
like it could be the same problem.
