Hi Peter, thanks for replying. But how do clutch bolts just decide to come loose like
that?? I don't know if it is anything that serious, as it really does drive fine, only
when i push the clutch in it feels a bit rough and i get some vibrations through it...
You could be right, but firstly could there be any other explanation?
Cheers,
Mark F

it sounds like your clutch is not done up properly, the bolts may
have come loose,i wouls not drive it until you've had a look.
could have broken a couple of bolts or your flywheel may be loose
too?????, it's hard to say for sure but i'd be investigating
Peter

Subject: Re:
Clutch/gearbox probs
Sorry, but an update, i have found that if i turn the key
very quickly to let the starter spin without starting the engine,
everything sounds normal.... but then if i let the engine start, then just
before it does a loud clang bang noise comes from somewhere - sounds like
the gearbox when your in the car, but i doubt this as once the car is
started it runs like normal (except for the vibrating clutch pedal)
I'm pretty stumped, anyone else got any clues?? Cheers.

nothing of it for a while. > >The next time i tried to start

for the clutch was closer to the firewall than before...??? The thrust

louder and rougher noise... > >Anyway, i havent had time to
