Cutting springs actually increases the spring rate
evenly/unevenly so they will be even harder (how much i don`t know) so you
may find the car will "bounce & skip" a bit more on uneven
surfaces when cornering.
This was explained to me by a friend at Pedders. The example he gave me
was if you unwound the coil( before it`s cut) into a straight
piece of wire, put one end into a vice and
push the other end side ways it will require a certain amount
of force to move it a certain amout of distance, now if you do the same
thing to the cut coil which is now say 8 inchs shorter, to push the second piece
of wire the same distance requires a much greater force to move it the same
distance as the first one.
Also they may start rusting.

ground the coil flat so it sits properly in the seat...these are coil-overs
too remember.....they cant just pop out :)
they are a lot harder springs than my stock
ones....so its not going to bounce up and down like cut stockys

well king springs suggested cutting them, since
they dont make super low rears....cutting one coil off would make lows the

super lows on the front and lows on the back.....sits on a

slant....and from what ive read, the best handling comes from a
dead
level car...so im gunna knock 1/2,1,2 coils off, whateva makes
it
sit flat......which end of the progressives to i cut??? the
tightly
wound top?? or the further spaced
bottom???
