Im rebuilding a L18 for a blow through turbo and want to make sure ive got
the low comp (8.5:1) head.

What ive got is an A87 made in japan head. The head is off so i can easily
check anything. I believe its the A87 that can be either low comp or the
peanut high comp type.

also how do i check if this head has steel valve seats, as i want to run
premium unleaded, or can i just assume it does ar its a japan made head?
