Chris, Compression Ratio on a L engine is determined by combination of both the head and the dish in the pistons used. The chamber volume if an L18 head is 41cc, on a stock bore L18 dished pistons gives a CR of 8.5:1 and flat tops gives 9.5:1. Much the same for other L engines. 200B heads are mostly 45.2cc as are NAPSZ heads.
