Isn`t there a set of adj castor rods from a Torana that you can use? Is
there much needed to make them fit?

There is about 5mm space between the tyre and strut, give or take. I
thought it was going to hit when I put the tyres on! I think it's a
combination of the radius rod rubbers gone and the offset... Would this
setup (stock struts with TRXies) make steering a lot easier? Because it
has!

I was thinking the same as you Andrew - 240k/200B hubs are 8mm wider
track
over stock 1600, but TRX rims reduce the track by 25mm due to the offset
(I
worked it out this time). On stock struts they narrow the track by 33mm
so
you have to put some real sticky rubber on them if you want good
handling -
if it's only for looks then all of what I've written is off topic. They
nearly must be hitting the inner suspension and not the guards - if the
later is the case then you've got me. I guess you have to have a close
look
to identify what they are hitting - a 195/50x15 tyre is 4% smaller in
overall height that a stock tyre, so it must be the combination of
offset &
hubs that are the problem

regards
Terry

Hi James,

hmmm I dunno - I have trx rims with 195/50/15s and I dont have
this problem (I did though when I had the 60 series on as did
yourself :) Perhaps its to do with the struts - I have 240K struts
which increase the track in the order of 10mm??
