Oops, by conversion I mean radiator change only - as these little things well make me appreciate the work in doing the entire engine package.

In short what's the best thermo-set-up to use - what are you guys with FJ20 in 1600 running with - Terry? I know it a pretty straight forward conversion and yes I did just drop the radiator right in but having it mounted and fans clearing everything properly is the detail I'm discovering.

I've got an N13 Pulsar/Vector radiator and the factory dual electric fan set-up of a an '89 Vector - big fan for cooling, little one for A/C I believe - but good to wire up both for max. cooling. I think the only way to install it is lower the fans in place, then radiator and bolt the fans up with it in there 'cos i can't get both past the FJ20 pulley wheel. But I still fear the fan's support frame will foul the pulley wheel or fan belt.

Keen to see a set-up close so I get some idea about securing the radiator too - best to use the Pulsar mounts with longer fabricated brackets (foul the bonnet I think) or just hole through the top radiator support on the car and bolt and washer on the radiator top edge?
