Mal,
Bolt on. I glued the hall sensor on
an alluminium bracket I made and bolted the bracket through 2 timing cover
bolts. When the sensor is mounted you can then work out the position of
the magnets.
ie, mount the sensor first ( allowing for adjustment as this
sets the base timing) then mark the pulley, remove the pulley. drill holes
and glue in magnets.
