hi, get a gas welder, NOT a gassless. the gassless gets HEAPS more spatter, and the finish is no where as good as the gas. i would be using just about the thinnest mig wire possible for what yor using, my brother had .8 or something mig wire, then went down to thinner mig wire , and he said it made a heap of difference. he mainly welds car panels and other thin metals.
