hi,  about these oil pressure gauge senders,   they basically only vary in resistance... i had a ea falcon and put in a s  pack dash with  tacho etc.... and had to get a oil sender unit for the gauge, (cost me about 60-70 dollars) i was looking at a sender from a holden  v8 (red engine) and it actually had the resistance range  printed on there...but the range  printed on the  ford one was a little bit different....   if you find out what  ohms  the sss one is, you might be able to match one up from another vechile, even if the threads are different, you can always buy/make sumthin up... usually  auto shops should have a book  with pics and specs  of oil  sender units...      mark k ----- Original Message ----- From: Rick White To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, December 11, 2002 6:13 PM Subject: Re: My SSS pics uploaded correctly Terry. Yes that is what I was trying to explain to Malcolm a couple of weeks ago when he said the two were the same. As you see they are not. I was seriously stuck for that oil pressure switch that is in my SSS, it took them ages to find it, it supposably was the last New Old Stock one that Nissan in Perth had. I hope it never breaks, otherwise I may have to take you up on that offer. My wagon pics have been there for like over 8 months, took you a wile to go in and check them out. How close is my 1970 SSS to the one you owned, going by the pics?? Later.
