yeah I knew I spelt it wrong as soon as I sent it. The reason I ask was I recently had an overcharging battery, would a ammeter have shown that, or would it just be shown with a high voltage on a voltmeter?
Also I have a backfiring problem atm. So far I've checked Timing/dizzy/plugs/leads what else should I check. Im just about to go replace the coil (with a spare). It happened after I replaced the plugs (maybe I have a dodgey plug?). Also its not the kinda backfiring when you back off, its often when your accelerating.
