I think they will want the battery sealed off from the boot (and therefore the cabin) and vented to the atmosphere outside.
Sounds easy, but will be harder to do in practice.
I have one of those plastic battery boxes which will be very hard to seal because the lid has raised bit to clear the cables. May have to make a new lid and run the cables through the side of the box?

Check out boating and marine places, they sell pretty good boxes for
cheap. The use of the words "seal" and "vent" seem to fight each other,
how do they want you to do that? Some big grommots could be used to seal
the cables I suppose.
