My mate Wojee had a FJ 20 powered 1600 with the
battery in the boot, if I remember right he just got the standard battery box,
plastic one.
Drilled a couple of holes in the sides that were
big enough to house the cables with nice grommets around them, this sealed
it. then he drilled another hole in which he just udes another grommet and a
small piece oh hose which he just vented through the floor of the
boot.
To seal the top of the box he bought a tube of
silicon, spread that all over the inside lip of the lid while it was apart and
let it dry overnight.
He then just used the box like you normally do,
just used the ratchety thing to hold the lid tight.
