You only get a copy of the report as the original goes to the traffic authority in vic any way. There should eba bout 4-5 pages of notes depending on the engineer who did the report and should have a Vic roads authorised engineer number on the report. The report is not needed for anything but initial registration of the vehicle here.

Hi All,
          Just wondering what is written on engineers reports when looking at buying a modified car;
 
ie;  What to be aware of so i don`t get "tricked";
      Does the owner pass on the original and not a photocopy?
      If the car is unregistered, is it subject to the same procedure for re-rego for non-engineered cars? etc etc.
   Any help would be greatly appreicated.
