You
only get a copy of the report as the original goes to the traffic authority in
vic any way. There should eba bout 4-5 pages of notes depending on the engineer
who did the report and should have a Vic roads authorised engineer number on the
report. The report is not needed for anything but initial
registration of the vehicle here.

Just wondering
what is written on engineers reports when looking at buying a modified
car;
ie; What to be aware of so i don`t get
"tricked";
Does the owner
pass on the original and not a photocopy?
If the car is
unregistered, is it subject to the same procedure for re-rego for non-engineered
cars? etc etc.
Any help would be greatly
appreicated.
Thanks,
Kris. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
