I think so. I first looked at it when it had 6 months reg and was advertised for $750. The roof panels have been destroyed by rust under a vinyl roof, so I didn't think it was worth the $$, although the lower half of the body and the interior were quite good. I next saw it advertised 6 months later without rego, but in the same condition as previously - for $150. I knew it had a new battery and four almost new tyres, so I considered it was a very cheap, genuine original SSS engine with some extras. Being an old lady owner, its an auto, normally a downer, but for my purposes a plus, as my son's fiance has an immaculate 1600 auto, so we now have a spare if hers dies. The tyres went straight onto the 1600auto, saving a $400 bill, and the battery has been a boon as I have the car stored in a shed where I have to move it in and out occasionally. I am still considering whether to restore it , wreck it turn it into a unique, open topped 180BSSS by cutting off the roof and strengthening the floor pan. Any knowledge about doing this would be interesting.
