Starter motor question

Hey listers, i have a question to ask all of you. I have a 1600 with an L20B with 10:1 compression, and have an L18 starter motor on it. It just doesnt seem to have the kick to turn the motor over, then start getting a burning electrical smell coming from the starter. Does anyone know what i could source another starter from? Do i go a 2.4 Navara starter or something else??? Thanks guys.... Stuey.
