Could someone please enlighten me on the ins and outs of 1600 windscreen seals -
I'm looking at scott auto rubber's website and I'm not sure what I need The url is: http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Datsun 1968-72 1600.htm Obviously I need new screen seals, but what about the locking strips? Is this the visible chrome trim, or is this a seal expander that sits hiding underneath the trim? Is there a recommended way of getting the trim without damaging it? Do I need to sacrifice the existing rubber? Any help greatly appreciated. Also - is there a better/cheaper place to get these seals? Cheers.
