Mark, Assuming your corner weights are 260 kg each front wheel, that sounds about the right sort of spring rate. The Tokico's may be a bit soft for that rate spring for race use.   Normally the Tokico's would be used with about a 280 lb spring and use a bit higher piston speeds to control damping. With the lower spring rates a heavier stabiliser bar rate is used. This gives a more compliant suspension.   Its very hard to get the shock to control damping evenly through the whole range of shock velocities. This is what you pay for in higher quality shocks, the ability to accurately control movement at all piston speeds. The best shocks produce a Dyno graph with all velocities concentric so damping is linear through the whole range of velocities.
