Heath,
CA18DET valves are 34mm In 28mm Exhaust.
Exhaust port flow is only 51% of inlet (stock), so is limiting factor for
performance. Exhaust flow should be approximately 70% of inlet for maximum
performance.

Hi all
the CA16 head has 30mm inlets and 28 ex.
is that the same as CA18det's?
people have said that the exhaust port needs porting,
the port looks like it needs to be enlarged towards it's sister port
does that make sense?
i'll remove the valves this week and have a look
at the the bowls behind the valves.
