what's the SR20 out of? different cars with the SR20 used different turbo's the S13 used a T25G it should have around 1mm side to side play but no in out early S14 used T28 which also can have 1mm side to side but no in out the later S14 was the BBT28 which usually has a bit of play both side to side and in out due to the ball bearing core the S15 turbo is a GT series turbo (GT25/30 from memory) it should be very tight side to side but again because of the ball bearing core should have a little in out play
