Hello guys here’s one for you.

 

I am running an L18 with twin 40 webs.

 

I have just been net surfing and the only thing I can see as a constant out there is that LRP fuels are all mainly 96 RON

 

Should I run this in my car for rallying.

 

I was toying with the idea of running BP ULTIMATE as I don’t believe you can get OPTIMAX in WA.

 

The option was to run the 98 with an octane booster or toluene mix or something like that.

 

Has anyone done some experimenting of this nature and given the age of the car and the fact it runs a straight through exhaust would LRP be the best bet, I guess I can run a booster or toluene in LRP too

But I don’t get how much of a difference a RON number makes, i.e. I am guessing it’s a percentage of performance not a direct relation.
