You can but you hardly get lots of benefit for it. You can create a V shaped air intake that will accelerate the air on the way in (a la brake ducting), like look at a racing car with a cold air box and note the shape of it. Its generally always wider at the front and narrower at the back.
The effect is very minor really compared to a "real" forced induction system. > This might sound stupid - i take that risk alot :):-) > > But turbo's & superchargers just pressurise the air & therfore forcemore air > in & more fuel in right ? > > now comes the might sound stupid right, but is there any other way of doing > the same thing ? > > Jeff ------------------------------------------------------------ This email was sent from Netspace Webmail: http://www.netspace.net.au --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
