hi, the 80 would be okay, but the thing is when the gearbox is cold, it might be a pain to get into gear, could crunch etc, as the oil is thicker, when cold, and as you move the gearshift lever, the synchro cone is trying to push the thick oil out , thats why it can make a noise....
have y got any auto trans oil,? make a 50/50 mix ,, then put it in........ i would try it, but what about some engine oil in the box??? i had a mazda van , which use to loose/burn a bit of oil, and i always out gearbox oil in the engine cause i got 20 litres 80w90 used oil.........................
