Mk2 puscort seat blts bolt straight in ,no mods need (into a 69 shell).
Weld up the front chassis rails along the bottom edge ,they split open.
Also pays to seam wels around rear wheel inner arch's(under back seat)dig
out all the seam goo thats been painted over and you will see big gaps,most
are like this I have seen .weld it up and regoo them.

Also along the bottom edge of the rear inner wheel wells,the factory spot
welds pop their too..

As for cutting the new hole,,if needed?,I havnt done a SR..But cut out the
whole hole ,as in four straight lines,then weld it back in where it needs to
be then add a strip of steel,,Then sand back the welds both sides and no one
will know its been moved.

Taking a 510 to steel is the only way to do it,,You will find rust you didnt
know you have.

I'm sure the roll of film I took of the 510 rust cutting ,, I took pic's but
never got the film printed.I'll hunt it up........
