Yeah thats what i'm a bit worried about. If i have a crash i'm basicallly screwed insurance wise. Might take it of the road (get engineers cert) and get ch plate for club use. Does anybody know where and what cost a engineers is for a car. cheers marko

They just looked at the rego sticker and took the number from that on my car. My 1600 was already rego`d ( not engineered but!!) with the L20B but they didn`t pick it up. I went to Greensborough Vicroads and told them i have changed my engine number and need it recorded. I DIDN`T tell them it was a capacity increase and some how got away with it. No forms to fill in, nothing. They just wrote the number down and gave me a new sticker. If you do this you will need a receipt for the motor before they will change it. Don`t go to Burwood Vicroads as you will have to fill in a form asking it`s capacity. Get your RWC first to remove the Canary then if you do the above, do it a different day.
