mate as far as i know you cant use bonnet pins legally.
its cause when you hit a pedestrian it cuts them up (i said when not if :))
thats why they got rid of hood ornaments

Subject: Bonnet Fastening

Anyone know the legalities of using bonnet pins on a road registered car in NSW?

My problem is I got an intercooler in the way and had to take the bonnect latch off.

What other legal ways are there to hold the bonnet down???
