Nissan used a quaife/Torsen style center in their 240RS in 1985? Apparently they ditched them due to licorice (transverse worm) gear failures. They also changed the handling characteristics (apparently unfavourably?).
I notice the R34 GTR's had one as well (also S15 Silvia). For high performance applications they seem to go back to clutch pack diffs again ? Any one on list have any personal use comments??? This is very different from most limited-slip or locker diffs.
