Hi all,
I scored a cheap 1976 240K automatic. It works fine
and I drove it home and I am slowly dismantling it for parts to suit my 1600. I
am keeping the struts and hubs/discs/calipers, dash instruments, starter motor,
diff, output shafts, one spare fuel pump, steering wheel, rear "A" arms (I hear
they fit a 510 and are stronger??) centre console, dash dimmer control, scuff
plates, window winders, handbrake and cables, rear and side vision mirrors and
some other bits and peices. Quite alot of good stuff on the 240K for 1600/510
upgrades. If anyone knows of any other good bits to remove that I have missed,
let me know.
Anyway, if anyone in Perth needs a good L24 motor
and carby, 240K bumpers (excellent condition), rear tail lights (round type),
grill, headlights, badges, interior trim (great roof lining and seats)
or body panels let me know. Email me off list at;
Cheers,
Rob P
