got access to a mill and a lathe?
easy as to make your own, and shape size you want.

i tried a r180 half shaft with the shaft type, and they did not fit

a mate who is a suby self appointed expert, reckons that suby r160 and r180 'axles' are the same spline type...my experiment when i get a chance is to try some datto r160 'axles on the subi r180...

fingers crosses, im no expert but i hope it works

Where abouts in OZ did you find it??? $750 is a good price

Have a look on the dime quarterly website, I'm sure theres an article on
changing to a suby diff, I'm pretty sure you only have to change the
input shafts depending on what type of axles you have (flange or shaft
type)
The datto R180 stuff will fit , not sure about R160's but why bother.

mark,

ive looked at a Subaru R180 from a STI recently, my interest is whether
the
datsun r160 'axles' will fit the splines in the centre or whether i
would
have to have something made to work

the 4.11 R180 LSD is only $750 (clutch packed)

once i have a chance, my plan is to try some datto shafts on the r180
and
see what fits

can any one else shed some light on this?
