Stuey,

Have a look at the back of your tacho and see if it matches what I described
in the big post i.e. factory impulse type - usually two white wires looped
through the back of it is the give away. If it is then wire it in as
directed, it's not that difficult - the post is large to cover all of the
different coloured wires they used - it will work. You can pick up the coil
wire from behind the gauges but I've found on numerous occasions that the
tacho bounces around particularly on the Aussie models with the stock
wiring, so that's why I run the figure 8 wire from as close to the coil as
possible - they run perfectly from that pick up point. I got this tip from
the US 510's as that's how their version of the 510SSS tacho is wired.
