Subject: Some stock 1600 help

Hi guys,

I recently got done by the cops and need to get my car roadworthy. This also indirectly means I need an engineers. The engineer has told me that my car cant be too low. It must not have more then 2" less travel than the original 1600. He asked me to get some standard figures for this.

Does anyone know what the standard ride height for a datsun 1600. I have fitted lowered king springs on the front and rear. with 240k struts. Does anyone know what diff this will be to my ride height?

Whats the best way to measure the height? from the ground to the sill?

Also I am getting my engine/brakes and seats listed on the engineers, anything else I should be thinking about??

Thanks in advance,

Rich
