it's got a separate chassis to the cab, then the engine you can drop in
legally is pretty much limited only by your imagination / wallet.
I'd be looking at twin turbo 1uzfe if the budget permits it.

The Volvo was bought because it is bulletproof and cheap
;) And because I know the engine, gearbox and diff will last a
looooong time. The thing is well engineered past the ~200hp it puts
out :)
Drop a SR20et into the volvo :O)

Considering
an S14 Silvia for road car... Cars in the price range have approx 100k
on them... What are these engines like and at what mileage are
they likely to give trouble?
If possible
I want to find one that hasn't been riced or thrashed, looks like the
sleeper image of them might work in my favour in that regard
;)
