Complete cars are in good nick and worth almost nothing (a complete manual 164 sold on ebay for $7.50 not long ago - if it had been running I would have flown over and drove it back) 3. They come with Volvo brakes as standard :) 4. You don't break driveline components in a Volvo, or engines it seems if you are careful not to over-rev them 5. I wouldn't have gotten a good 1600 shell for what I paid for a complete almost ready to go car + spare car + 3 spare engines Emotionally I wanted a Datto - but I am not racing anybody and no doubt this Volvo will be slower but I know I will have less trouble if I bend this, and I think mechanically I am less likely to!
