Bob,

Yep, been in my 1600 for years and still works fine - the prototype cuts off
the full pump in around 20 seconds - variable or a defender for tuning etc
would have been nice but it's never been that big of a problem. Wiring it in
with the particular immobiliser I use was initially a bit of a problem but
we got it sorted out.

Regards,
Terry

Subject: Re: automatically switch off electric fuel pump when engine not
running

I made up a device a while ago, and Terry gave it a test for me to do this.
It was microcontroller driven so you could do some trickier things like have
it run for x seconds when you first turned the ignition on then stop until
the motor was turned over, run on for y seconds after a stall. If anyone out
there wanted I could try to track down the code etc for it, but the LPG
switch thing seems like an easier option.

Out of curiosity Terry, is it still running/being used?
