If ya head lights arent working try the little relays on the back side of
the strut
If I remember right its the smaller one with three? wires.

I got a relay out of another 1600 (mine is a 71 so has the boxy one) and
swapped them.
but still no lights & I have been to lazy to sort it out properly since i
really only drive the car on weekends :-) the other relay was probably
stuffed as well maybe :)
I should probably just buy a new relay & try that.
PS a bloody suzuki GTI beat me yesterday (:, oh well more hp less weight
what do i expect ?

Jeff,
No lights at all on high beam is more than likely that your relay (near
the
fuse block) has failed. There are at least two types - pre~70 (flat type)
and '70+ (box type).

I think this is the same problem I have,
when you hit high beam there are no lights at all.
