Have anther look death spear would inpail if you sit in the door frame.   But not if you sat in the seat.   Plus think about it,,If you rammed a brick wall that hard for the colum to go thru ya cheast cos ya sitting in the door frame,, you would have to be doing 200Mph....   Now if the colum ant on a angle why does the uni in the collapsable joint wear out?.   More people die from air bags than they save...
