The size relates to the cylinder bore diameter - most cylinders will have it stamped on them and usually still in inches. The only Datto one I can think of that doesn't have the size on it is the 3/4" Aussie 180B Girlock cylinder (usually rusty cast iron piece of crap) and these are a total waste of time. Try to use a Japanese cylinder, Tokico (my pref as they have excellent internal proportioning when used with 4 discs), Nabco (good), or Sankyo (average but OK).
