Why such an absolute NO? I'm watching the Nancy Grace style talking heads and it is startling and viscerally wrenching how negative she really is (bet you can find a meme or two in her hour of power) and you get pissed just watching her...I want to soak her head in clorox. NO, I am not saying we are not in deepest Kimchee and should pretend otherwise...I think it takes some serious creativity and guts to see anything good in this current dung heap. Just keep listening to all the conversations around...so much of them are snippets of negativity. Have we always been this way or is this that era?
I know why people want to believe in Obama. This nation is deeply embarrassed, wholly pissed, and ultimately disillusioned with our politicians. WE want a hero, or at worst, someone competent. Can you imagine how Obama feels having all of us believing in him? Not vain or power drunk maybe, but scared shitless? Motivated! His whole family is on the altar and he gets the very real chance to be superdad! IF he can deliver bit by bit, this could be revolution! National, personal, just a tiny bit global! I'm just sick of shitslinging! I've got a bucket, rag, and smile!
