MENDELE Yiddish Language and Literature

Personal Notices and Announcements

May 25, 1990
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:

1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.

2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments.

3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Re: Yiddish Summer Program

REMINDER: You can still apply to learn Yiddish in New York this summer!
Deadline: June 15, 2009.

The Uriel Weinreich Program of New York University and YIVO offers peerless instruction in Yiddish language, and an in-depth exploration of the literature and culture of East European/American Jewry. The core of the program is an intensive language course daily at one of four levels, designed to develop proficiency in speaking, reading and writing, as well as cultural literacy.
