Hi,

I thought i'd throw in my opinion here.
I think this one is the best logo ide for Nemo so far:
http://play.qwazix.com/grog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/nemo3.png - it fully
displays the Nemo feeling while still being elegant and stylish.

Whatever direction we choose for our design, we are definitely better off
with a consistent design and user experience.
Apart from branding, the first impression and UI consistency are very
important.

Some key points to consider, for starters:
- The logo shown at startup and at shutdown should be the same
- The logo should be shown at startup without graphical glitches or blank
screens
- First boot experience should be nice and fast, without the current
slowdown bug
- Icons need to be consistent with each other

There are many other factors, but having a logo and an established style
would be best.
It'd also be nice if we had a dedicated mailing list or forum for this
purpose.

Cheers,
Timur
