Hello,

Some news on the N9 kernel update project. There has been quite a lot of
activity and we have now more working stuff on 3.5.3 kernel:
- WLAN working (needs new firmware, but that is on the way ;)

Are you getting the new firmware directly from the vendor? Or is it
already public somewhere?

- BT (at least scanning works now)

Does it mean H4P drivers was submitted upstream?

this is just driver from nokia n9 2.6.32 adapted to 3.5.

If you are able to, it would be nice to get newer BT drivers from TI
for bluetooth as well. I'm sure they have some fixes (IIRC some
Android based phones have the same chipset from N9, but seem to have a
different firmware format).

but it does not mean they have better drivers :) this driver was originally
developed by nokia engineer, so it can be very different from TI driver.

Effectively you can now run the UI with the new kernel and use the
device for development.

This is really great news. Keep the good work :)
